Jewelry Care

She Ate Fashion prides itself in affordable, stunning jewelry. It is important, however, that to enjoy our jewelry, you must be prepared to make the following efforts to preserve it:

POSH JEWELRY

The products in this collection are often times 925 sterling silver, stainless/surgical steel, gold-plated, or brass.

HOW TO CARE:

Our Posh jewelry has an average life expectancy of 18 months, but that is only with proper care. Be sure to only wear these jewelry pieces AFTER applying makeup, lotion, perfumes, and hair products. These products may contain chemicals that can increase the chances of your jewelry tarnishing.

BODY JEWELRY

The bars & bones on our body jewelry (which includes piercing jewelry and faux piercing jewelry) are made of 316L surgical steel, sterling silver, brass, or titanium. The charms on them, however are made of alloys. Therefore, it is imperative to take the following measures to keep your jewelry in its original condition.

HOW TO CARE:

To preserve your body jewelry, we recommend keeping your jewelry away from pools that have chlorine, as the chemicals can result in damage. When storing it, keep it away from objects that can scratch its surface. If your jewelry appears dull after some time, you can use warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Use a toothbrush with soft bristles to get into any crevices. Remove your jewelry before showering, doing your makeup, and styling your hair to avoid introducing your jewelry to harmful chemicals in body washes and beauty supplies.

SUGAR RUSH JEWELRY

Pieces in this collection are made of alloys, and rarely, sterling silver.

HOW TO CARE:

Only wear your jewelry AFTER applying makeup, lotion, perfumes, and hair products. These products may contain chemicals that can increase the chances of your jewelry tarnishing. If these products are not made of sterling silver, they should be kept away from water altogether.
